THOMAS H. MAC GREGOR
Thomas H. MacGregor is Professor of Mathematics at the University at
Albany. He received his Ph. D. in 1961 from the University of
Pennsylvania.
After rising to the rank of Professor at Lafayette College between
1959 and 1967, he came to Albany in 1967 as Professor. He served as
Department Chair from 1975 to 1978.
He was Principal Investigator of National Science Foundation grants in
1962-64, 1965-67 and 1968-71, and was awarded State University of New York
Faculty Fellowships in 1971, 1972 and 1974.
His research interests
include geometric function theory and Banach spaces of analytic functions.
RECENT DOCTORAL STUDENTS

"Multipliers of fractional Cauchy transforms."
Dr. Luo has a position as an applied statistician at Meta Works, Inc. in
Boston, after previously holding a position with Blue Cross/Blue
Shield. He is coauthor with Prof. MacGregor of a paper, "Multipliers of
